Letters of Inquiry

Please submit a one page letter of inquiry before receiving an invitation to submit a full proposal or grant application.

Grant Eligibility Requirements

Organizations must meet the following requirements to be considered for Foundation support:

1. An organization must have current 501 (c) (3) public charity status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
2. Organizations main focus must be on youth and their families.
3. Organizations must be located in Hamilton County and surrounding areas in Indiana.
4. Organizations must be able to provide us with financials and tax returns.
5. Multi year grants are considered for organizations with which the foundation has a past funding relationship.

Please be aware that if your organization does not meet these requirements, your letter of inquiry or proposal will not be accepted.

Generally, the Crosser Family Foundation does not fund the following:

1. Projects of organizations whose policies or practices discriminate on the basis of ethnic origin, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
2. Grants to individuals or personal businesses
3. Grant requests outside of Indiana
4. Candidates for public office

At this time, our commitments for 2010 have been fulfilled.

All grant requests are due by December 31, 2010 and will be up for review at the beginning of January 2011.
